Automation has become indispensable in today’s production technology. It is completely irrelevant whether automation is used with the aim of reducing costs, protecting workers or increasing the accuracy of the wierhol.
We therefore offer automation approaches for all Yizumi technologies and, through partnerships with innovative companies such as Franka Emika GmbH, we also go beyond this on our way into the automated production landscape of tomorrow.
By automation we mean any meaningful integration of active, movable elements for part handling or for active part processing (welding, coating, painting, etc.). Our SpaceA technology for additive manufacturing can be seen as an internal spin-off and illustrates our will to implement it.

1.What is important for Yizumi about automation?
Automated processes are subject to two major challenges. On the one hand, automated processes must always follow the approach of increasing work safety or working conditions. On the other hand, automated processes must be implemented economically. These two aspects only seem to initially create a field of tension.
In the end, good and bad engineers separate in the way to solve a problem. We always try to find the simplest and cheapest solution for the customer.
2. Which automation elements does Yizumi use?
The strength of an automation system lies in the width of its toolbox. Accordingly, Yizumi has a wealth of experience with different robotic or handling systems as well as different sensors. We see the integration of the right (efficient) tools from the field of artificial intelligence as the greatest challenge of the future.
